This is a piccy of the party which was organised to celebrate the opening of the Coastal Currents Festival 2013. The party was held in the Jerwood Gallery in Hastings. We didn’t stay long as we didn’t want to overshadow the other rather ordinary and mundane people. Our hostess for the evening said as we left, “Thank you for leaving,†so I feel we made the correct decision.
The nicest comment made on my opening day was “I’ve had a terrible week and you’ve really cheered me up†so that was all very nice.
The biggest drawback to all this fun, culture, frivolity and creative mayhem is that I’m missing out on some serious sofa time and afternoon naps.
If any avid readers decide to come for a visit it’s possible I’ll be asleep. Make yourself at home. The biscuits are in the conservatory.
