ONE DAY IT’LL BE TRUE

.

Many times recently I’ve said to Lo, she is a terrible Goddess “That’s the last of the really messy and dusty stuff” over at the Cliff Top Residence. It has always been one of my main duties to ensure that the TG doesn’t encounter the ‘dirty’ side of building.

.

.

She’ll quite happily (not quite le mot juste, Peabain. Lo,TG Ed) plunge her rubber covered hands down lavatories that have been used by any and all passing vagrants. She’ll cover herself in paint when necessary. She’ll degrease those things that need degreasing but she will not, indeed cannot, tolerate cement dust, rubble dust, brick dust or plaster dust.

Anyway, I really have, very nearly, reached that point where dust of any description will just be a best forgotten memory.

[I’ve just got to plaster the reveals in the shower room and in the second bedroom …….. oooooo, and rub down that filler just above where the skirting boards are going and knock those holes through the walls for the drainage in the kitchen and the shower room, plaster the garage after taking the wall down at the end ………… and then replacing the door-linings is going to be a tad messy]

……. “ Darling, when I said that’s the end of the messy stuff ……. well ………”
