Once again it’s open studio season in the Hastings area when people are allowed to shoot artists.

When you’ve taken your pictures you will have the opportunity to watch the artists in their natural environment. Watch some flinging materials around like spoilt children and others who are more precise carefully balancing ‘stuff’ that can reach great heights. All artists should be approached with caution of course but a surprising number act almost like normal human beings.

I’m flinging the door of my back passage open this year so that people can rummage through my works that will be in and around the shed.

Beg, borrow or steal one of the excellent catalogues for this year’s events by the Pied Piper of the arts in these ‘ere parts, Tina Morris, (or follow the link here) to find studio 69 on page 94. That’s me. All welcome.

In the meantime I’ll be in the shed making stuff so that there’ll be stuff to see.
