A GARDEN OF DELIGHTS

A GARDEN OF DELIGHTS

As we weren’t living in the Cliff Top Residence this time last year there are new delights to discover on an almost daily basis.

These are a lovely reminder of Portugal, where they seem to grow almost everywhere. The common name ‘Rockrose’ is applied to the species, a name also shared by the related genera Halimium, Helianthemum and Tuberaria, all in the family Cistaceae.

However, there is a mystery plant that has just come into flower. The TG knows what it is ….. but can’t remember the name ……

…… so any help would be very welcome. I shall continue to call it the DP Deepinkus Outofgreenyleafysphorbia just in case it’s actually an undiscovered species and I’ll be able to get my name in Wikipedia …….
