    Hmmm. So there’s not really a prize? Pity. Over at momsbits, someone’s going to get some new panties.

    If it happens to be you… I’ll throw in a (manly) pair and find a way to tie some gingernuts into the deal.

    I know your post is titled “WHO WILL TAKE THE BISCUIT?” but I’m afraid after spending far too much time trying to figure out the text-wrapping issue in the css of that theme, I’ve ‘had’ the biscuit.

    Perhaps I should beg Penfold to use his wizardry to figure it out? The theme author hasn’t a solution yet and I’m not sure if perhaps I could find the problem if I had a glass or two of something? Then again, even if a glass or two didn’t help me see the problem, perhaps I’d not care?

    Where is the key to that liquor cabinet now…

I’m quite sure TG would not be impressed should she arrive to help you with that yearly bath you wrote about (in tomorrow’s post, which is up now so I guess it’s actually today’s post…) and find you wearing my undercrackers. Goodness, you GOG… you’re beginning to sound as though you’ve gone mad.

    I’m rather partial to stem ginger shortbread biscuits, not quite as refined as the ginger nut but getting there…

    In an effort to ease marital relations and prevent Lo’TG from editing out the word gingernut completely, thus spoiling our entertainment *yawn*, I hereby give you:

    GW’s GINGERNUT SURPRISE
    Ingredients:
    1 packet of gingernut biscuits
    Your choice of fillings:
    custard and fresh/tinned berries
    cream and strawberries
    chocolate or caramel mousse
    set jelly
    vanilla ice cream
    Instructions:
    Sit a gingernut, bottom side up, in each of the hollows of a muffin tray. Place the tray in a warm oven (about 100 degrees Celsius) for 3 to 5 minutes or until the gingernuts have softened enough for you to push them into the hollow with the base of a soup spoon.
    Leave them to cool and harden again, in the muffin tin.
    Fill the gingernut cases with your favourite filling.

    Notes:
    Depending on your preference you may wish to fill the cases just prior to eating so the cases are still crunchy or you might want to fill them earlier so the cases absorb some of the moisture from the filling and soften a little.

    They’re OK I suppose …….. actually I quite like eating one side of the biscuit and then licking the filling before eating the other side …..and that’s enough mentions of Nigella over here thank you very much GW ……
