Poor Grumpy isn’t allowed to read this …….
……. as it hasn’t been published yet.
It is the book that everyone has been waiting for.
This is the ideal book for anyone who is, or knows somebody who is suffering from a mid-life crisis. ALL the answers are in here ……. crikey ……. there’s even a quote from me …..
As soon as it is available there will be a widgety thing in my sidebar. Please stay tuned and await in the ‘bated’ position.
[The value of 1st editions might go up or down – the same goes for signed editions – the content will, however, remain as relevant and riveting as the day on wot it was rit]

I hope he plans on taking the suit off before he stumbles blindly into the sea. The hat… not so much. I think it’d be kind of awesome to keep it on whilst surfing.
Does the quote from you have anything to do with gingernuts?
My quote, which is very cogent and will be of great value to old and young alike, can only be discovered by people who buy the book ……. [brilliant marketing ploy DP!!!! - *claps himself on the back causing mild discomfort*]
The button is on it’s way via the miracle of email…
Have I lost a button? I thought I felt a draft ……
I would just like to state that no gingernuts were harmed during the writing of this book.
Did I mention that the book is brilliant?? x
You get a free signed copy. Because you are loverly… x
I get a free book!!!!!?! Thanks son!!!!
Not you, you great pillock. Her! She’s the loverly one – you’re just… …you.
No offence…
Oh ……. her ……… I see ………….. fair enough ……………… I suppose …………
congratulations penfold!
He’s doing very well …… for a young fella ……
is the theory that only tall people read top shelf books true..?
I shall look suspiciously at the next giant I meet …..
Exciting stuff – and how nice that your son thinks you’re loverly – it must be true!!!
I think he called me a pilchard [or something] actually ……. I blame the parents [not the TG ..... obviously]
gosh Penfold must be a great surfer if he can do it on the Thames dressed as a middle aged civil servant… [oo I see that 'men in grey suits are sharks.. very clever
]
‘Clever’ isn’t a word I’ve ever associated with him …. perhaps I should have a rethunk ……..
It’s obvious he has been hiding his bushel from his dear old dad …
Well, that’s a blessing …… mind you, when he was a little chap, he used to ….. oh, never mind ….
Congratulationary thingies to Penfold. When will it appear in the bookstores of the antipodes? I really want to be able to take a book to the counter and bore the check-out chick with the information that I know the author. And his father and his mother and even his spice.
I suggest buying one [or several] using the Interweavy thingymibob – and then persuading a bookstore or two to stock them. A perfect excuse to chat up the chicks *looks round to make sure Buff isn’t watching*
