THE CREDIT CRUNCH

At last the new TV has been ordered – I say ‘pooh’ to the financial crisis.

It’s got Freeview and Freesat built in. It’s high resolution LCD and HD ready. I have no idea what any of this means but it sounds good, and the main thing is it’s very flat and probably shiny.

As the news slowly improves and stability returns to the financial world, just remember who set the ball rolling in the right direction …….

Any way just remembered in the nick of time … Charlie the Citroen is off to be MOT’d & serviced in 20 mins…. so no spending for me on me or anyone else … keeping local industry in work though…..

    daddyp replied:

Eeeeeek – I hate MOT time …… it always feels so personal having someone poking and prodding one’s vehicle ….. and possibly finding that they’re not up to scratch ……..

What credit crunch? Here in Canada, we folks living in Fracskatchewan are thee folks in the wholeeee world to be jealous of.

    Or so they tell us

I’d never brag though… not even after so many years of people talking us down and making jokes about us here. Nope. Not me.

    daddyp replied:

Are you? I never listen to the news or read the papers, except the Daily Dust of course. Is you Canadialand folks top of the pile now? I do hope so – [if you need my address to send aid just let me know]

    daddyp replied:

3.4% growth in employment ……. it’s all relative though isn’t it? Do you trust statistics young Fraccy – I bet you don’t …… you’re far too sensible …..

    fracas replied:

Well, house prices here have gone wild… only a couple of years ago a house like the fraccy house went for about $165,000. Last summer, our neighbours sold theirs for $359,000.

Everyone wants to be here apparently, and no one can keep enough employees, help wanted signs everywhere.

And no… it’s not everywhere in Canadialand that this is happening, just Fracskatchewan.

(I think it’s because everyone found out I live here…..

    …rotflmao)

    daddyp replied:

You must have some hidden assets Fraccy – tee hee
