COMPETITION TIME

For reasons that would take too long to explain, the TG and I ended up having a poetry competition. The subject was ‘chairs’.

These are the results.
CHAIRS
by Lo, she is a terrible Goddess
This is a poem all about chairs
It isn’t bout jam and it isn’t bout hairs

PULL UP A CHAIR …….

…… for a whistle stop tour of the garden.

Well that didn’t take long did it ………
…….. and now another sculpture.

Hippy Chair – interesting but completely useless.
OK, you can go now ………. bye bye …… *waving*

THE IMPORTANCE OF SITTING DOWN

My life is dictated by chairs
Not the worries of global affairs.
My need to sit down
Is the talk of the town,
It is one of my greatest cares.
My life is dictated by chairs
Those devices to house derrieres.
In the garden or house
For myself and my spouse
There must be loads – with a couple of spares.
My life is dictated [...]
