I’ve just done a painting.

Christmas Dinner

“Christmas Dinner Makes A Bid For Freedom”

Acrylic on canvas 20cm x 20cm

This is why I don’t paint very often.

i sort of like him. or her. hard to tell with all the identifying bits down there in the primordial stew.

‘It’ looks bad tempered. I’m plumping for ‘her’.

    Beautiful !

    daddyp replied:

It’s that age old problem of actually getting up from the sofa. Oh well.

You can tell the sex of a frog by it’s feet or size of it’s eardrums.

    daddyp replied:

    What about it’s chins?

At first I thought it was a woman carrying a dinosaur.

And now that I look at it…

    …it IS a woman carrying a dinosaur!

    daddyp replied:

    *looks closely* Are you sure?

    guyana gyal replied:

    Quite sure.

And the dino has two men in its mouth…one man is almost gone, which explains the 3 legs.

    daddyp replied:

Oh, I see. Changing the subject completely, exactly what medication are you on?

    guyana gyal replied:

    Ferroglobin. It’s vitamins plus iron.

So, the big question is: “Whose dinner was this supposed to be?” In my garden it might have been the garter snake except that at Christmas time the garter snakes are all hibernating in my crawlspace, cosied up to my hot water pipes.

    Interesting painting indeed.

As ever HMH, you’ve hit the nail on the head. *places yet another gold star on the chart*
