SEAGULLS RISING

Surprisingly the Cliff Top Residence sits on the top of cliffs. They are about 150’ high. If you look down the garden you are looking straight out to sea.

Seagulls inhabit and fly along the cliffs. Every now and again one or two or three seem to zoom up out of the ground at the bottom of the garden ……. it’s quite nice really. So far, I haven’t been wished ‘good luck’ by one …… it’s only a matter of time though …….. and they haven’t attacked me either …… I shall remain on my best behaviour though …..

Just thank your lucky stars the one in the foreground was preoccupied with her close-up. I doubt you’d have survived it otherwise!

Loving the way you just know it’s female …….. and you’re probably right …. tee hee

    fracas replied:

    Probably right?

Have you learning nothing in all these years?

    fracas replied:

It had to be a ’she’ since men aren’t usually concerned with close-ups. Well, except maybe JohnC… (and Perez Hilton… I think…)

He won’t be seeing this, will he?

    I mean John…

    Uh oh…

    daddyp replied:

Just keeping my options open Fraccy the Fractal ….. and don’t worry about JohnC …… he’s probably having a snooze ……

Seagulls can be pretty scary as that chap found out .. they do however, make excellent ‘guard birds’ if trained correctly .. just a thought in case we get invaded.

    daddyp replied:

Any hints on training? ……. or are you just trying to get me into trouble again?

DaddyP, never trust a SEAGULL! I was walking along the boardwalk on a winter day. No one around. So peaceful, except for several squawking seagulls. They watched me and I ignored them. Out of the blue one swooped down and almost hit me in the head. Then I felt it! Warm icky dripping down my head. Why?

    daddyp replied:

Hello Kathleen!!! ….. seagulls are very ‘tricky’ …… and ’sticky’……

Birthing season is a nightmare round my way (Eastbourne). The seagulls take to the rooftops in a most menacing way, dive bombing anyone whose face they don’t like. – I am surprised that they have had restraining orders placed on them after their hooligan ways.

    daddyp replied:

I know the problem …… lived in Sovereign Harbour for 18 months …… the little blighters are getting worsererererer and worsererererer ……..
