    Happy birthday, chuck and fellow Scorpion! Are woodchucks the same as groundhogs? Great film ‘Groundhog Day’. That’s how birthdays feel to me these days. They seem to come around far too often – I’d swear I seem to be having at least two a year….good job I’ve started to count backwards. I’m now approaching my 30th birthday again. But from the other direction….I’m sorry I’m waffling.

    Though the shock of your daily photo almost toppled me off my chair to the floor (goodness, I would never post anything quite so shocking on a blog), I have gathered myself up and managed to get your little surprise together.

    (I’d meant for it to be up this morning my time, but who would’ve thought I couldn’t do something as simple as take my own picture? Had to wait for back-up… or is that had to back up to take the picture…)

    It’s been quite rough on you while I’m off work, hasn’t it? Drawing those curtains all by yourself… fetching your own papers. Oddly though, people tell me you’re doing so much better.. hardly dropping a thing without me around. I wonder why?

    Seriously though.. it was humourous. I couldn’t set the timer and get back into my seat and get the box on my head quickly enough… and my darn arms just aren’t long enough to get a good shot teenager style. I should’ve had a video of the whole thing. Had to wait for the young boy to get home from school. He took the photos, so I guess that’s his birthday gift to you, although he did wonder about the photo…
