I must start making notes about when they are fed and their rate of growth with relation to temperature, humidity and wind direction – it should be a fascinating study that will create great interest. Why only the other day, it was just after breakfast I think ….. or it might have been just before, I went out to feed them and ……. hello? ……. HELLO? ……where is everyone? ……..

Something went wrong the other day and all my votes disappeared ……. come to think of it, it coincided with your disappearance …… spooky ……..
I’ve not been able to load the main page (with the list of blogs in the top 30) at all. I keep getting a big red nasty error message, so I suspect it’s something technical. The way their rankings work, is that all votes older than 30 days disappear. So for example, if you got ten votes today, in 30 days your total would decrease by those ten votes when they’re lost. No one could really lose all their votes at once because they all have a different expiry date. It has to be something reaaaaallly bad on their back-end.
lol… and that comment was on purpose… as a treat for you boys who love to have such fun here… (you know who you are…)
I’m sure when they fix whatever is wrong with their back-end… you’ll be back up where you belong DP.

Last night, I tried to vote for folks over there. The thing was loading instead of the error message but I noticed that some scores were way down (yours, mine and a few others…) while others remained where they were before the error message day.
My score had dropped by about 60… much too much to be just old votes expiring, since I’ve NEVER gotten 60 votes in one (or even two) days. You were down at least 6-10 places on the list but the top couple were still where they were, score unaffected.
Also noticed that at times, not all votes ‘take’. I’d been away from there for awhile and was trying to vote for my own self (a while ago) to catch up my own votes. I voted for the last 20 posts I had listed (making sure I’d not already voted for them… told ya I was away from there for awhile) and when I refreshed, my score had only changed by 11. Makes me wonder how many of the votes I give other people aren’t being tallied either.
So back to yesterday… I tried voting. Voted for my recent posts from the last two days and then was voting for others when the damn site crashed my computer again… happens to me almost every time I use their site. So I got in about five votes for you before that happened.
I’m considering just removing myself from there so as to avoid temptation. It’s frustrating having to restart the computer all over and not really knowing if the time spent voting for myself or others is even being counted.
Blech. I’m tired of all these places already. If they can’t get it together to work… it’s a waste of our time.

Is photographing fish in a pond anything like shooting fish in a barrel? It sounds easy enough. Keep feeding them chocolate cake and you can be fishing in a barrel… or pond, as it were.
