……… I promise I won’t mention my shed again for ages.
“It would appear, DP, that the shed that was ordered, is larger than the one I approved. I will allow it but I will not tolerate it being the colour of someone just about to take part in Strictly Come Dancing. An effect like driftwood, or ‘limed’, would be acceptable………. ASAP.”
Fair enough ……
……. I got up at 4 o’clock this morning, spent all day splashing paint around and worked my magic. I’m hoping it will pass muster ……..
.
(I haven’t inspected yet. I’m far too busy grooming the little toothbrush style moustache I’m cultivating, and polishing my black boots! Lo,TG Ed)

Yay…am i first?
Hang on – I’ll check ………. yep!
I don’t think I’ve ever been first here before!! I’m so excited!! And i happen to love all of your remodeling projects.
Walter has a lot to live up too. He made me promise not to take a picture of our back porch and post. Hummm???? Just wondering if…..just thinking!! Hummmm????
Well thank goodness I didn’t have to see a great big hairy spider before going to bed!!
Sweet dreams!!
Take the picture and post Jackie – peabrains need encouragement ……. and there’s always the shin kick as well – never did me any harm [I tend to walk in circles now of course but that does have some advantages - if visiting a lighthouse for instance]
Very tasteful, a sort of dignified, weatherbeaten and slightly woodwormy, cliff-top residence patina.
Oh, and the shed looks quite good too……..
I just had to check that I hadn’t posted a picture of myself by accident ……
My, but TG has good taste in home decor.
I’ve been meaning to do that to my basement… which is currently covered in vertical cedar planks the color of some very sprayed-on dancers.
Would you care to pop over and get it done for me? I just never seem to have enough time and you seem to… well… you know…
Perhaps if you did my basement walls, you’d not have to bother poor John so much?
Cedar looks lovely when weathered – a bit tricky in a basement I suppose. I would strongly suggest flooding it and then adding bleach, leave to soak for about a week, empty and admire …… you’ll be delighted.
[We used to have an antique shop and I loved repairing 'stuff' and then ageing it. Had to do the same with a lot of the buildings we've renovated as well - by far the most interesting bit]
Lovin’ the limed look ….
An excellent comment from someone who is still half asleep ……. perhaps it should be sepia though ….. mmmmmmmmm
yawn zzzz here is a pallette for you select from zzz… quite likin’ the tranquil greens zzzzz

I have picked my shed but don’t tell anyone I am getting a metal one … but it looks woody…
Hee hee, you said “woody”
No excuse sir… just feeling juvenile this morning…
Tee hee – she said “woody” then you said “woody” – no excuses here either – I’m ancient ……
anyhooooooo, a METAL ONE!!!! are you mad!!!!! [is it nice - maintenance free and spider proof?]
