This magnificent ‘thing’ is called Punk Rockers ……. I do hope you can work it out for yourselves. Made from lead, galvanised nails and lumps of marble from Portugal that remind me of brains. I have no idea where this is now …….
I have asked Penfold to put a sculpture tab at the top of my blog so people can go to my Flickr portfolio of sculptures ……..but he hasn’t …….. oh well. There aren’t many in there yet but one day when I’m not frantically busy I’ll add some more. (Meanwhile the world has to hold it’s breath. Lo,TG Ed)

That’s actually very good DP. It’s very ’smiley’, which made me think how my opinion of punks has changed over the years from utter fear and dread, to a kind of endearing nostalgia. Weird.
I ended up quite liking the punk movement ….. and the odd ones you see nowadays definitely make me smile …. let’s POGO DANCE!!!!

I used to do a ’stand-up’ routine [for friends and family] saying “We used to have lead water pipes when I was growing up …… never did me any harm ….” and proceeded to a long and very boring monologue disproving this ……
Actually, if you use it upside down, you could tenderize two steaks at once. EUREKA! You’ll be as famous as Ron Popeil is in the United States. Just promise me you won’t go and get all plastic surgeried up like he did… pleeeeease…. and (since I’ve been your loyal fracretary and all) can you also promise me all kinds of freebie products?
