HANG ON A MINUTE

An awful lot of life seems to involve waiting.

Waiting in queues, airports, bus stops, police stations, hospital waiting rooms …….. at traffic lights, ATMs, the dentist’s ……… for the plumber, the delivery man, the telephone to ring, a letter, an email ……………… a break.
I can’t wait for tomorrow to see what it might bring ……. but I suppose I’ll have to.

One of my favourite books is the Magus by John Fowles. The way to the place where the main character learns to grow up is signposted the 'salle d'attente' ….. [that's the worst précis of a book I've ever read - tee hee]. John Lennon had something to say about as well ……

Obviously there should be an 'it' between 'about' and 'as'. If we wait long enough 'it' might turn up ………
