Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam.

.

So far as I can gather the monetary system is nothing more than a house of cards……… or rather the way people have been playing with money.

.

.

Pyramid selling is actually illegal [over here anyway] and yet most financial ‘deals’ are based on continual expansion which is very close to this and it’s always the people at the bottom who lose out.

I do hope that the new regulations will stop this to a large extent and more emphasis is put on ‘reality’. I really don’t care if fat cats suffer – they make me feel quite ill.

I’m nothing if not an optimist ………… although we must remember that Boredom Brown did lose a colossal amount of dosh when he sold off our gold reserves.

Actually, thinking about it, I’m going into hibernation for as long as it takes ……. or I might take to crime.

Tea anyone?

I don’t think there is a future in pyramid selling. I just called our Cairo branch and they said “No interest. Although we may be able to assist with other structures.”

    Speculate to ruinate.

    daddyp replied:

Those Egyptians were rubbish …… pile up a few rocks and iron the sides …… anyone can do THAT!

I wonder if they used catapults to get the rocks on the top? …. mmmmmmmmmmmm

Ooh – just spotted a glitch in the theme. Will mend it later – or you could not use really long titles forever…

    penfold replied:

All done. I don’t think anybody noticed. As long as we don’t talk about it in public nobody will ever know… ;)

    daddyp replied:

Don’t tell anyone but it still looks odd over here …. I’ll make my titles shorter in future …… possibly.

    Somnambulist replied:

You’ve left some little dots after the title and each paragraph. Or is that themic?

    daddyp replied:

It’s me being lazy – it saves mucking about in the HTML bit to get some spacing [but don't tell anyone!]

    Web-Betty replied:

    Love the new theme Penfold!

I wonder if some of the issues you raised have been addressed? …………

    daddyp replied:

I like the David and Goliath theme though!! …. poo …. perhaps I’ll become a cereal killer instead [hope I don't make a mess] …….

Antiquis temporibus, nati tibi similes in rupibus ventosissimis exponebantur ad necem.

Oh, and Gertrude is hungry – feed him!

    daddyp replied:

Buttocks!!?! …… wash your mouth out and thank you for the reminder about Gerty – I have sadly ignored him recently – poor little chap ……

    arkwright of the desert replied:

Buttocks? BUTTOCKS? (there, I’ve said it twice on your blog). I wrote nothing of Buttocks. (Three times). I merely suggested that “In the good old days, children like you were left to perish on windswept crags. “

    daddyp replied:

I do apologise , I misread ‘nati’ as ‘natis’ – I must brush up my Googling – tee hee …..
