These two extremely stoooopid pigeons are building a nest …….
……. and they are gathering materials from the bottom of the garden.
They either try and pick up something that is growing or a twig that is actually a small branch. Useless.
They’ve been down there for several days being Useless, with the occasional glance in my direction. Up to this morning I have just shrugged my shoulders. I finally gave in however when Mr Pigeon tried for the 57th time to take off with a long twig, got caught up in the elderberry tree and crash landed on next door’s shed – I’ve just been down there and broken all the large twigs into manageable sized pieces.
Oh …… *thinks* ………… I wonder if they’ve been doing a ‘Tom Sawyer’ on me? – perhaps they’re not as stoooopid as I thought ……….

Nothing wrong with an avian civil partnership I suppose – I wouldn’t hold out much hope for a cluster though…..
obviously nothing at all wrong with avian civil partnerships except they have no bloody idea how to feather a nest .. just sayin’??? But their interior design will be to die for darling!

I expect they’ll have a very tasteful doorbell that goes “Gribbet Gribbet” powered by a pigeon toad ….
looking at the photo again it looks like they have had a rather feathery tiff about the choice of doorbell or flock design?? The one on the right looks well miffed
