A FOUNDATION COURSE

I realise this will be of little interest to anyone but myself …… (I am deeply and sincerely interested. Lo,TG Ed)

…….. but these are the footings for my soon-to-arrive shed!!!!! A course of bricks to be laid of course and then it’s ready go ……. 12ft by 8ft of bliss ……

Please notice the Oh Jays shed which has been taunting me over and through the fence ever since we moved. MY shed will dominate the landscape and obliterate all signs of this monstrosity.

The TG seems rather pleased as well ……. I might even allow her to have a look round it if she behaves herself.

Oh, nicely set out. You can build it around the mixer.

Just make sure the door is wide enough to get it out when you finish.

I do have a small logistical problem in that I’ve got quite a lot of cement to knock up to finish the steps and around the pond and I’m trying to keep the mess localised – I’m hoping the shed doesn’t arrive for a week or two [I never thought I'd say that!]

That over looking shed seems more like a holiday chalet …

I am about to downsize to a 8×6 I think …. keeps the spider population down … less breeding space

I’m sure you’ve gotten the measurements wrong. 12ft by 8ft would hardly leave room for a new and spiffy (meaning luxurious of course) office area for I and the lovely fanzine editor to toil in. You must’ve means 12 metres x 8 metres.

We’ll forgive the error so long as you fix it toute de suite!

See how upset I am at the very idea you’d forget your promise to build us a new office space? I obviously meant ‘meant’ and not ‘means’ in that last sentence. My gosh… I can hardly remember being this upset… I think I’m the one who needs tea, gingernuts and a lie down…

    daddyp replied:

There will be as much virtual space as you want Fraccy. I was thinking of a mezzanine with a glass floor – what say you?

    70steen replied:

nothing with too much glass coz we won’t be able to throw stones (glass houses and all that) …. a mini bar, big comfy sofas, muscular gorgeous tea boys.. top of the range apple macs plus a few other bits that I will let dear Frac order … should do the trick

    daddyp replied:

….. and what would you two like?
